Altinbas University is a private university founded in 2008. Until 2017, it operated under the name of Istanbul Kemerbugaz University. In 2017, it was named Altinbas.
The university is located in the European part of Istanbul. The university has been teaching at the bachelor’s, vocational technical school, master’s and doctoral (PhD) degrees.
It is considered one of the leading universities most in demand by foreign students. Cooperates with many European universities within the ERASMUS+ program.
Campus
There are 3 campuses of Altinbas University: Mahmutbey, Gayrettepe and Bakirkoy campuses. (location)
The Mahmutbey campus houses preparatory language courses, the Faculty of Engineering, and several working administrative departments of the university. All levels of medical fields are located in the Bakirkoy campus. Gayrettepa is where all the other bachelor’s departments, master’s and doctoral departments are located.
