Kadir Has University (KHAS) is one of the first private universities established in Istanbul in 1997. The university has five faculties: art and design, communication, economics and administrative sciences, engineering and natural sciences. University education is mainly conducted in English. In most areas, education is provided according to the project-based educational model.
